Perforated Stainless Steel Sheets
Perforated metal consists of sheets of stainless steel punched or laser‑cut with a pattern of holes. These perforations can be round, square, slotted or decorative shapes arranged in a regular pattern. Hole Shapes & Patterns
- Round Holes: The most common perforation type, round holes provide excellent structural integrity and even open area. Staggered patterns distribute holes evenly.

- Slotted Holes: Long, narrow slots deliver high open area and directional airflow, ideal for speaker grilles and diffusers.

Open Area & Thickness
Perforated sheets are specified by the hole diameter or slot size, spacing (centers) and thickness. The percentage of open area influences airflow and sound absorption. Thicker plates can support heavier loads but have lower open area.
